How to Cut a
Whole Vanilla Bean

Cut the vanilla bean lengthwise then use the tip of the knife to remove the seeds. Use the seeds in your recipe as needed.

Vanilla Sugar

After removing the seeds from the pod, keep the empty pod. Simply put the pods in sugar to make your own stash of vanilla sugar.

After the seeds have been removed from the pod, grind them in a simple grinder to make your own vanilla powder.
